Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Overview:

As a Sheet Metal Assembler, you are an integral part of our highly motivated and experienced production team.

You will utilize a variety of hand tools to assemble various parts onto commercial Roof Hatches, Smoke Vents, Floor Doors and Access Doors with quality and safety in mind.

You enjoy working with a team to maximize productivity to reach company goals. You'll perform other duties to ensure that the products are successfully transferred through the assembly process.

Essential Functions:

  • Assemble metal hardware (hinges, slam latch, spring packages, pyro latches, etc.)
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity
  • Cross train on various machines and in various departments to fill in when needed
  • Performs frequent quality checks
  • Communicate with entire team to reach company goals
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Work within all safety guidelines
  • Keep area well organized and clean
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
-1-3 years sheet metal experience preferred

  • Reading & understanding blueprints & work orders
  • Medical/Dental/Eye Care insurance
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Health & Safety
