Are you ready to help us lift anything and reach new heights in your career? Apply now. The Material Handler will place incoming or outgoing orders on shelves or in there respective locations. We are located in Cerritos, Ca.The position reports to the Material ManagerResponsibilites:
- Participate in cycle counting and inventory auditing processes.
- Conveys materials to and from production, reciving , storage, shipping or other disignated areas as needed.
- Safely move parts to proper locations and load / unload trucks and containers as necessary using lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate to necessary parties of low levels.
- Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.
- Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a timely manner with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Must be available to work overtime shift when necessary, including at month end.
- Keeping the assigned areas in clean & organized condition daily
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Lift truck driver - Forklift license required.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to provide customer service by responding in a timely manner.
- Experience maintaining inventory records, cycle counting.
- Ability to analyze data, perform audits and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve problems and sensitive situations that require immediate attention.
- PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and RF scanner. Ability to lift 50lbs.
Salary Range:
$ $29.00 per hour
