Communitas is committed to providing personalized, family-centered services, programs, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, across their lifespan and within their communities.

Job Summary
  • The Program Director will offer leadership and direction to our Life Choices program, which aims to enhance personal development and community engagement opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing the hiring, supervision, and training of all Life Choices staff, conducting weekly team meetings, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive support.

This is a full-time 40-hour position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The role will be based at our Beverly Day Program.

Responsibilities
  • Maximizing support services and community inclusion opportunities for individuals receiving services.
  • Providing leadership to staff through regular supervision, training, and managing employee relations.
  • Securing referrals for program expansion and establishing strong relationships with participants, families, and community resources.
  • Coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical and programmatic needs and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Representing the program at relevant meetings and overseeing case management systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, or an Associate's degree with six years of relevant experience, including three years in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Three or more years of direct service to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable CORI report, and clear fingerprinting results are mandatory.
