**About the role**

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. This includes logging and organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting issues or damages to materials.

**About the work**

Schedule, package, label, inspect, and ship products to domestic and international locations

Unload, visually inspect, receive, sort, stage, record, and transact inventory and non-inventory deliveries while maintaining an organized and safe area

Track, trace, and provide status of incoming/outgoing shipments, and maintains records

Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in shipping, handling, and logistics

Maintain and operate material handling equipment and in a safe manner at all times

Prepare international documents (invoices, BOLs, export declarations, etc.) in exact accordance with the requirements set forth by each country of destination

Develop processes, workflows, procedures, and effectively train others

**About you**

Minimum 2+ years warehouse shipping and receiving experience

HS diploma or equivalent (a 2-year degree a plus)

Experience planning and scheduling shipments to/from domestic and international locations

Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks with visual acuity in a warehouse environment

Working knowledge of MRP systems and office software (Google Suite a plus)

Knowledge/experience with DOT Hazmat and EAR compliance preferred
