Location: Johnstown, NY
Term: September 4, June 27, 2025
Openings: 2 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) positions

We are seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team for the school year. These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to work with students at different developmental stages, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.

Position 1: Primary Level (PreK - 1st Grade)

Location: PreK-1st Grade Building
Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 1st grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Conduct assessments and provide targeted interventions.
Position 2: Elementary and Middle School (Grades 2-7)

Location: Two buildings serving grades 2-7
Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 2 through 7.
  • Create and maintain IEPs tailored to each students needs.
  • Work closely with educational staff and families to promote a collaborative approach to student development.
  • Perform evaluations and monitor student progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
