Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Manager Pharmacy Service plays a key role in leading the pharmacy department by developing and executing plans aligned with the goals and values of the hospital. Responsible for managing resources effectively, including inventory, supplies, and personnel, to ensure high-quality service and patient care while complying with laws and regulations. Supports staff in issue resolution, fosters motivation, teamwork, and productivity, and delivers services to patients of all ages at a high level of competence.
Requirements:
- Previous management experience preferred. Knowledge of 340b program is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy experience required. Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Active license from the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
- Bachelor's Degree is a must.
