Facility Engineer

Job Opportunity:
- Lead the monitoring of building system operations and performance, utilizing various skills like plumbing, electrical work, and heating and cooling expertise.
- Handle equipment maintenance for air handlers, chillers, pumps, and valves, among other items.
- Organize and execute routine maintenance schedules to prevent issues proactively.
- Supervise the energy management program to ensure efficient system operation and minimal operating expenses.
- Maintain the building lighting system and supervise control settings.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or building engineer- Proficiency in building management systems and controls- Familiarity with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and executing work orders- General maintenance work
Working Environment:- Office/pharmaceutical building based near Kendall Square- Regular tasks include walking, standing, bending, and climbing throughout the day- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds might be necessary- Some tasks might occur outdoors, potentially involving exposure to weather conditions, fumes, electrical elements, and machine noise
Compensation: $37 per hour without certification$45-48 per hour with certification
Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
