The Primary Therapist conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, facilitates individual, family, and group therapies, and provides clinical support to the program as needed.
Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of Newport Healthcare's clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy.Complete risk assessment and initial safety plan upon admission and biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plan within timeline requirements.
Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provides intervention/management as needed.
Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
Enter and save data accurately within Word, Outlook (email and calendaring), EMR, and online learning.
Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Newport Healthcare as needed.
Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with adolescents/young adults required.Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders or trauma-informed treatment preferred.
