Your Tasks

As a Process Safety Engineer you play a critical role in optimizing our hydrogen production processes. This position blends deep process engineering expertise with a strong emphasis on safety, ensuring that our operations are both efficient and compliant with industry standards. You will collaborate with various teams in Germany and the US to enhance process designs and integrate safety measures in both, product & project development.
  • Process Design and Optimization: you will spearhead the development and adaptation of European electrolyzer technology for the US market.
  • You will analyze and modify the processes technology to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with US safety and environmental regulations
  • Safety Integration in Process Design: you will ensure that all process designs incorporate safety as a fundamental component, using Process Hazard Assessment and safety reviews to guide modifications and enhancements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: you will monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and industry regulations. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and implement necessary process adjustments.
  • You will work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams in both, Germany and the US , and facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Your Profile
  • You are graduated in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or in a related technical field.
  • You have 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in hydrogen, industrial, or related sectors oil&gas)
  • You bring proven track record in relevant industrial, North American codes and standards
  • You have a strong background in designing and optimizing industrial processes with a proven record of implementing safety improvements.
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to lead and influence diverse teams.
