aeSolutions is hiring an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join the Process Safety Management (PSM) group in our Houston office, located in the Westchase District.

This person will join a highly-specialized team of process safety experts, serving as a Facilitator for PHA/LOPA studies, Auditor, and/or Lead Assessor on Facility Siting projects depending on skill set.


This person will also provide oversight to junior-level staff, support proposal development, provide QA/QC on deliverables, and serve as Technical Lead on projects with multiple diverse team members.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Process Safety related to PHA/LOPA methodology, PSM/RMP program development and auditing, consequence modeling, and/or facility siting
  • Formal training in PHA and/or LOPA desired
  • Experience in PHA, consequence modeling, and/or QRA software desired
  • Process Controls or SIS experience a plus
  • The willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time; Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision
