Position Summary

As part of our team at XYZ Company, you will be working closely with the Sr. Human Resources Manager in an administrative role. Your main task will be to ensure the smooth operation of the HR Health Department, handling employment, orientation, payroll, benefits, OJI, and other HR activities.

Pay Grade: 52

Salary Offered in line with Experience and Education

Minimum Qualifications

100% -

1. Need at least four (4) years of experience in human resources in a generalist or coordinator role; AND

2. Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, management, human resources, or a related field; OR

3. A suitable mix of education, training, and experience.

4. Must provide documented proof of education, training, and/or experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships with management and employees to offer guidance on HR-related issues and policies.
  • Manages the hiring and orientation process, including background checks.
  • Assists in finding resources for departments to fill open positions.
  • Oversees the OJI program, ensuring timely reporting and proper training.
  • Handles documentation for unemployment claims and addresses complaints.
  • Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Identifies and suggests solutions for departmental improvements.
  • Suggests changes to HR procedures for better performance.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to address issues.
  • Ensures accurate payroll processing, including training and issue resolution.
  • Processes special compensation pays like mileage and hazardous pay.
  • Administers and supports the time and attendance system.
  • Generates reports to meet operational needs.
  • Manages the department email account professionally and promptly.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
