Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Expected hours: Monday 7am-4:30pm, Tuesday 7am-4:30pm, Wednesday 10am-4:30pm, Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 10am-4:30pm. Location varies between Hwy 50 and Mt. Pleasant. Full-time benefit eligible. No nights or holidays; occasional rotating Saturdays every 4-5 weeks.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and assembles medical record documentation for physician prior to patient visit.
  • Transcribe medical record documentation in real time during patient visits.
  • Enters orders, follow-up testing, and medication orders.
  • Completes medical records accurately and timely.
  • Perform clinical functions like preparing patients for exams and obtaining vital signs.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • High School Graduate.

Experience Required:

  • 1 year in medical assisting or related field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Completion of authorized medical scribe training course.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Exposed to a normal medical office environment.
  • Position may require travel and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch. Wear protective clothing as needed.
