Duties:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
  • Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Provide direct support to individuals with special needs or disabilities
  • Assist with senior care, including mobility assistance and fall prevention
  • Provide dementia care for clients with memory impairments
  • Uphold resident rights and ensure their privacy and dignity are respected

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with senior care, dementia care, or direct support is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic first aid procedures is beneficial

Skills:

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
