Position Summary

The Contracts Specialist reviews, edits and negotiates customer, subcontractor and vendor contracts and assists with transaction responsibilities to ensure timely execution and implementation of contracts.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Duties):

  • Review, edit and negotiate contract language for customer, subcontractor and vendor agreements including the following contract areas:
    • Solar industry
    • Construction/installation services
    • Material supply
  • Assist with the drafting and revising of company agreement templates.
  • Act as a liaison with outside counsel, as needed.
  • Assist internal teams with project closeout documentation, ensure project controls are met.
  • May provide support when needed related to risk management (bonds, certificates of insurance, Claims, IP, etc.)
Secondary Accountabilities:

In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

Education / Experience: (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience)
  • Bachelors Degree preferred (in Business or related field)
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Solar or Construction Contracting
Technical Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Work Conditions

Environment: Hybrid (Home/Office)
