Welcome to the job of Financial Manufacturing Analyst at Standex Electronic In this role, you will dive deep into manufacturing volumes, trends, plant variances, and productivity metrics to ensure the sustainability and profitability of our manufacturing plants.

  • Support the Vice President of Operations and site leadership in developing and tracking key manufacturing KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Responsible for monthly tracking and reporting of productivity and cost-saving initiatives by region, plant, and cost type to aid in monthly site reviews and forecasting calls.
  • Aid the procurement team in creating tools and metrics to monitor purchase price variance by site for material inflation tracking.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze plant manufacturing costs, production material, and labor vs. targets on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the operations and finance teams to ensure monthly maintenance of capital expenditures reporting and support quarterly Capex reporting by site, type, etc.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to utilize PowerBI for finalizing reports.
  • Show leadership in your area by fostering a customer-centric culture within Standex Electronics.
  • Take on additional duties and oversee projects assigned by the FP&A Director.

What You'll Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business discipline with 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and/or manufacturing operations, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven proficiency in computer skills, including MS products, Excel, ERP, and BI.
  • Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and in cross-functional team environments.
