Join us as a Network Security Manager who will be responsible for supervising the design, implementation, and upkeep of our Security Engineering team and extensive Cisco infrastructure. As the manager, you will collaborate with internal departments and external partners to create and execute state-of-the-art security solutions. Through a combination of advanced Cisco networking and security expertise and strategic planning, you will drive security enhancements to safeguard against a wide range of cyber threats. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding security engineers, fostering technical growth, and advancement in engineering capabilities.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience utilizing Cisco security infrastructure
- 2-3 years of managing security teams
- 2-3 years of overseeing security projects and initiatives
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle confidential information with care

EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA

- Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background
- Preferred Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCNP Security)
- Preferred cybersecurity management certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)

PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, guide, and nurture a team of security engineers
- Supervise security projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with objectives
- Manage responses to security and availability issues
- Ensure seamless integration of Cisco security solutions with current IT infrastructure
- Conduct continuous evaluations and enhancements of corporate security infrastructure
- Uphold compliance with corporate security policies
- Act as a liaison with vendors and third-party providers
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements
- Manage team priorities, objectives, and performance evaluations

ADDITIONAL QUALITIES & DUTIES

- Resolve intricate problems in situations where facts are ambiguous or insufficient
- Apply creative and innovative thinking to resolve high-impact, complex issues successfully
- Proficiency in Cisco security technologies such as Cisco Firepower, ASA, ISE, Umbrella, XDR, IDS/IPS
- Sound knowledge of Cisco network technologies like routing, switching, VPN, OSPF, BGP
  • Thorough understanding of digital certificates and PKI
  • Act as a technical mentor and career guide
  • Manage significant routine projects
  • Exercise judgment to set work priorities
