- Be responsible for the security operations of the global network
- Drive scaling current network security designs to meet the demand of our customers
- Create simple processes that raise the bar on network security posture
- Work closely with our internal customers to help alleviate their problems and ensure our network continues to meet their demands
- Work on new designs/solutions, bringing them from concept to in life operations
- Create and update our network security standards and ensure that the network adheres to these standards
- Review and implement changes on the network through automation and orchestration solutions
- Drive operational excellence projects to drive improvements in our network quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions day to day on our network
- Work with a wide range of complex technologies including optical engineering
- Highly autonomous, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and time management skills
- Successful track record of designing simple, solutions and troubleshooting complex network problems and delivering innovative solutions
- The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

- 1+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
- 1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
- 4+ years of relevant network security experience (NextGen Firewall, Web Proxy, Web Application Firewall, DDoS)
- 4+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
