Job Title: Market Grille Department Manager

Department: Market Grille

FLSA: Non-Exempt

About the Role:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating resources to ensure efficient food and beverage service.

  • Demonstrates professionalism and results-oriented approach.

Reporting Relations

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, and other key management positions.

Manages Department Employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates a friendly atmosphere for guests and encourages customer engagement.
  • Sets and maintains high standards for service, cleanliness, and profitability.
  • Controls costs and supervises food preparation to ensure quality.
  • Analyzes sales trends and collaborates on marketing strategies.
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
  • Manages budget, inventory, and personnel.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures competitive pricing and participates in ongoing education.
  • Assists in overall store operations.
  • Manages pricing, storage, and departmental duties as required.

Supervisory Role:

  • Assigns work tasks, maintains standards, and resolves employee issues.
  • Oversees personnel, scheduling, and recruitment.

  • Leadership qualities, teamwork, and ability to manage diverse environments.

Education and Experience:

2-4 years of relevant experience or a combination of practical experience and education.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to perform physical tasks and lift weights up to 100 pounds.
  • Visual acuity and ability to perform various physical activities.

Working Conditions:

Role involves exposure to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with equipment and cleaning hazards.

Contact:

Regular interactions with customers, employees, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

Equipment Used:

Range of kitchen equipment and point of sale systems.

Confidentiality:

Access to sensitive business information and responsible for company assets.

Financial Responsibility:

Manages company assets and resources.
