We are looking for a Calibration Technician to join one of our Fortune 500 client's projects.

Job Description:

Prepares the monthly payroll.
Responsible for performing calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment throughout all Manufacturing and Research operations.
This position impacts upon the accuracy of the company's measurement and process equipment, subsequent product quality and is essential to meeting Quality Systems Requirements and other compliance requirements.
The Calibration Technician performs precise calibrations per written and automated procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule.
On equipment that cannot be maintained internally, coordinate the calibration with a certified outside source.
Maintains clear and concise records to facilitate timely problem identification, development of departmental procedures, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Education

High School Diploma, GED or Associates Degree (an equivalent combination of education and work experience, too)
Experience minimum: 0–3 years of related work experience.
Skills/requirements

ISO 17025 knowledge, Metrology background, Calibration background, Purchase Order experience, Communication skills with external vendors and a skillset that complimented the role Attention to Detail, Usage of Equipment Tracking System, Metrology background (dimensional, electronic, and Mechanical)
Interview preferences : phone for first interview screen with manager; onsite for second interview
