Responsibilities

Research Scientist - Translational Bioinformatics


The Multimodal Imaging Genetics Lab at Barrow Neuro Analytics Center is in search of a talented and motivated computational biologist to join our dynamic team.

Our lab employs cutting-edge bioinformatics and machine learning, including deep learning, to understand brain aging and secondary injury mechanisms across cerebrovascular, neurodegenerative, and traumatic brain diseases.

We seek a self-driven, innovative individual with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills. Salary will be competitive and based upon qualifications and experience.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data and multi-omics data integration.

Proven ability to support research programs. Expertise and experience in large-scale genetics and omics data analysis

Three (3) years or equivalent of researchrelated experience following the Ph.
D. degree.

Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases.

Education

Ph.
D. in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.

Special Skills

Solid computer skills. Proficient in MS Office and Google

Specialized computer analysis program experience

Pay Range
$ $58.96 /hour
