Job Summary:

The Food Service Cook position is fast-paced and hands-on. Responsibilities include general cooking duties throughout the hospital, following recipes accurately, and ensuring timely preparation of food items for various outlets.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • No minimum education requirement
  • 1 year of cooking experience
  • Substitutable Education & Experience available for internal candidates
  • Basic mathematical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines
Essential Functions:
  • Prepare food based on specific directions, including modified diet restrictions
  • Follow recipes accurately to maintain food quality
  • Organize work schedule effectively
  • Clean and sanitize equipment
  • Complete prep work for the following day
