Responsibilities:

  • Setup, teardown, and maintaining extrusion tooling and single and twin screw extruders
  • Operating forklift
  • Conducting quality control checks against setup sheets, procedures, and work instructions; utilizing different measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures
  • Completing extrusion dimensional charts, check sheets, and required documentation; responsible for updating setup sheets and documentation as required
  • Troubleshooting extrusion problems and providing assistance to associates on other lines when needed
  • Making cartons, skids, and tooling preparations for the next order
  • General housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to stand for full shift
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work in hot environments
  • Ability to climb up and down platforms/stairs
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
