A dedicated BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician is sought to join the hospital's Child Protection Team. This clinical role is based at a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and offers a faculty appointment with a School of Medicine.
Key Highlights:
- Join an experienced child abuse team comprising a full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician, Pediatric NP, Social Workers, and Nurses
- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation with shared call coverage
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and community partners as well as mentor providers in Missouri's SAFECARE network
- Offer evaluations and medical case management to children entering foster care
- Provide expert testimony and collaborate with law enforcement, children's services, and community agencies
