Project Procurement Leader and Procurement Software at Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc.
Description:
Responsible for all Purchasing activities within new product projects or brand labeling initiatives. Lead supplier selection based on the Schneider Electric procurement policy and a purchasing strategy. Challenge the requirements related to the Line of Business. Contribute to accomplishing Brand Label project goals while directing purchasing procedures and defining strategies for Brand Label. Lead negotiations with the legal department for crucial brand label suppliers. Oversee a team of Procurement Project Leaders to ensure category KPI's, implement strategies, and meet global cost objectives. Lead the choice of purchasing deliverables to be used on each project and guarantee their timely completion in alignment with OCP/ Brand Label regulations. Collaborate with dedicated Brand Labeling suppliers to enhance their performance during the Order Fulfillment Process. This position does not involve supervising direct reports. Telecommuting is allowed for up to 1 day per week.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in international business, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is required, in addition to 5 years of advancing experience post-bachelor's in multinational corporate purchasing or sourcing. Experience in Product functionalities within Process Automation offer for various lines of business: Telemetry and Scada Systems, Safety systems, DCS, Process Analyzers, and Instrumentation is necessary. Proficiency in Supplier Quality Management, Implementing procurement best practices, and Offer Creation and New Product Introduction processes is crucial. Familiarity with E-sourcing tools, SAP MDG, and driving Offer Creation Process purchasing for Process Automation Line of Business is essential. Knowledge of leading brand labeling and finished goods purchasing for Hardware or Software offers is also a key requirement.
