Are you an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity in education? We have an exciting position for you Our client nearRound Rock, TX, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join theirteam for the full school year. This is a W2 contract opening,and interviews are taking place immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, including assessments, goal setting, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide ongoing support to students
  • Conduct evaluations to identify specific areas of need and develop intervention strategies to improve students' functional abilities
  • Incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques into daily sessions and track progress through data collection
  • Assist in training and supporting educational staff on strategies to support students' sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs within the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary paperwork

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their fullest potential
