Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor II leads and guides a team of employees in an assigned area of operations such as Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, meeting customer demand schedules, and adhering to quality standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements
  • Provide inputs for budgeting and productivity improvements
  • Assist in reporting to senior management
  • Review daily key performance indicators for problem-solving
  • Identify and address quality issues
  • Develop, coach, and mentor employees
  • Make staffing decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years supervisory experience; 5 years in the field

Knowledge: Deep understanding of cellular manufacturing practices

Skills/Abilities:

Effective communication skills, ability to use data for issue resolution

Education/Certification:

Associates or Bachelors Degree Required

Employment Eligibility Requirement:

Position may require access to Controlled Data or Information limited to US Persons only

Working Conditions:

Normal for a manufacturing environment. May involve the use of safety equipment.
