School Psychologist Position in Broadway, NC

Role Overview: We are in search of a committed and seasoned School Psychologist to become a part of our team in Broadway, NC. The perfect candidate will deliver comprehensive psychological services to aid students' emotional, social, and academic growth. This position entails conducting assessments, executing interventions, and cooperating with teachers, parents, and school leaders to establish a caring and efficient learning atmosphere.

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Completion of an accredited school psychology program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments and evaluations to pinpoint students' requirements.
  • Create and execute personalized intervention and support schemes.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students.
  • Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to back student achievement.
  • Engage in formulating and executing IEPs and 504 plans.
  • Monitor and trace student advancement, modifying interventions as needed.
  • Offer crisis intervention and assistance when required.
  • Maintain precise and confidential records in line with state and federal standards.
  • Stay updated on contemporary research and exemplary practices in school psychology.
  • Stand up for the mental health and educational demands of all students.

Certifications:

  • State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Preferably, hold a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential.
