Job Title: Manufacturing Laborer at Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc.


Join the team at Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. as a Manufacturing Laborer and be part of our dynamic manufacturing facility.



Responsibilities:
  • Set up and utilize jigs to assemble component parts.
  • Inspect parts for defects, repair if possible, and inform appropriate personnel of non-conforming parts.
  • Accurately record production information.
  • Operate machines and hand tools according to standard operating procedures.
  • Touch up and repair defects on parts and assembled units.
  • Package finished units by hand or with assisting devices.
  • Maintain and clean workstation, jigs, and equipment.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and inform the supervisor.
  • Move parts using proper equipment.
  • Set up or adjust workstation ergonomically.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and assist in training other employees.
  • Suggest process improvements.
  • Work at a sustained level of productivity.
  • Follow safety rules, attendance policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Demonstrate company values in all job functions.
