Customer Experience Specialist

Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

The Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, in person or over the phone. This role will be the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns, and the specialist must direct the customer to the appropriate staff member.

Essential Functions:
  • Interact with customers and identify their needs in a professional and timely manner
  • Greet customers when they enter the sales floor
  • Coordinate with customers to see if they need alternative transportation to and from the dealership
  • Schedule appointments and make outbound calls to customers
  • Maintain and update customer database by documenting customers who come into dealership and capture their contact information
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints and escalate to a manager on staff when needed and capture customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints or comments
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Analyze customer satisfaction surveys and report findings to management
  • Maintain the showroom, ensuring it is presentable, clean, and well stocked
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of customer service or work experience in an automotive environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to recognize customer' needs and direct to the appropriate contact in a timely manner
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn and understand vehicle technology and operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 15 pounds.

  • Noise level is moderate
