Job Description:

Job Summary:
  • Analysis of LAN/WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluation, and selection of operating systems / protocol suites.
  • Resolving complex inter-operability problems across all platforms.
  • Configuration of complex systems for user environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing day-to-day system analysis and support.
  • Planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining Network (LAN/WAN) systems.
  • Performing network needs assessment and evaluating new technology.
  • Acting as a key member of the Networking Team providing recommendations.
  • Ensuring completion of assigned projects / tasks within specified constraints.
  • Providing advanced technical expertise, consulting, and support to staff members.
  • Engaging external vendors when necessary to resolve issues.
  • Participating in on-call rotational support during off-hours.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in a related field.
  • Background allowing security clearance.
  • Experience with structured cabling standards, Layer 2/3 configuration and troubleshooting, Enterprise Level Firewall administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cisco Products - Switch/Router, Voice, Wireless, DNA, AnyConnect.
  • Palo Alto Panorama/Firewalls.
  • Azure, AWS Firewalls.
  • HPE - Aruba - SDWAN, NAC.
  • PRTG, Splunk, Cacti, ORDR, Network Automation, Zero Trust Network Access Products.
  • Microsoft - Teams, One Drive, SharePoint.
