What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate on cloud adoption strategies with cross-functional teams
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques for workload optimization
  • Automate tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
  • Provide technical guidance for cloud-native services
  • Architect security controls for cloud environments
  • Resolve issues related to cloud architecture
  • Create comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures
  • Implement cloud governance frameworks
  • Enforce policies for resource provisioning and access control in Azure environments
  • Educate stakeholders and engineering teams on cloud solutions

Profile of Success:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles
  • Proficiency in Azure services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Functions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating globally
  • Over ten years of infrastructure experience and ability to lead PaaS implementation
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud security and technology management
  • Expertise in encryption technologies and identity/access management

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Active Directory migrations in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of enterprise management and business continuity in cloud architectures
  • Understanding of network architecture and cloud networking concepts
  • Participation in the technical community and software development knowledge
  • Proficiency in cloud-native development methodologies and Azure cost management
  • Experience with M365 hybrid designs and Microsoft 365 protections
