Position Overview:
We are seeking two highly strategic individuals to join our team in the Business Development (BD) space. The ideal candidates will bring a proven track record of success in securing contracts and partnerships within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Strong existing relationships within these agencies are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth within the DHS and VA sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and creating new ones.
- Lead the end-to-end BD process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends and competitor analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in securing contracts within the DHS and/or VA.
- Strong network of contacts within the DHS and/or VA agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the potential to transition into a Chief Growth Officer role.
