OT Security EngineerJob Description Summary
Contributes to the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of the plant floor hardware and software solutions utilized in AAM Production facilities to ensure that process machinery is protected from cyber threats or incursions. The role requires a collaborative approach with IT, operations, and controls teams to protect operational technology, balancing the enhancement of security measures without interrupting or slowing production.Job Description
Evaluates and tests systems, products, components, and applications. Evaluates new technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate. Monitors overall system functionality and effectiveness. Prepares and/or reviews line diagrams; maintains inventories of OT devices and applications affecting cyber security posture throughout AAM. Ensures that all firmware is maintained and upgraded to the latest appropriate revision. Performs periodic audits of AAM facilities and lines to ensure proper setup and procedures are being adhered to and works with Plant personnel to resolve any deficiencies. Supports disaster recovery / business continuity solutions using Rockwell AssetCentre and/or similar tools. Supports DR planning and audit activities for plant floor controls systems. Monitors security bulletins from AAM hardware suppliers and governmental / industry sources to determine if AAM actions are necessary. Manages supplier development and delivery. Supports controls (OT) engineering team in development, testing, and support of specifications and reference system architectures to ensure understanding and adherence to cybersecurity best practices. Obtains and maintains relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP or other industry-recognized certifications as directed. All other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Education
1-3 years of relevant experience (including internship and/or co-op experience). Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, information security, or related field of study. Strong understanding of basic ethernet networking concepts. Able to travel as required, including international travel, up to 25%.
