As a full-time Family Medicine Physician with expertise in Obstetrics, you'll have the chance to bring positive change to an underserved community and influence the growth of primary healthcare services.
No one at PeaceHealth will be turned away from receiving services due to financial constraints. This clinic consists of around 30 dedicated physicians and clinicians offering an array of services including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Same Day, and Behavioral Health services. Vancouver is conveniently situated just a short drive from downtown Portland, Oregon. The community here boasts outstanding schools and a variety of housing options. Additionally, you can enjoy amazing outdoor activities in the scenic Columbia River Gorge or take trips to the nearby Pacific Ocean, Mt. Hood, and Mt. St. Helens. New graduates are encouraged to submit their applications. Please note, surgical privileges are not applicable to this position.
Highlights about the practice:
- Schedule: Full-time position with a daily patient load of around 21, utilizing EPIC EMR system with NP In-basket support
- 1:6 Call rotation shared among all FPOB providers, covering day, night, and weekend shifts equally
- 48 exam spaces, 2 per clinician, shared office facility, equipped with X-Ray, Lab, Ultrasound, and Pharmacy services on-site. The collaborative medical home model ensures efficient care delivery
- PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center features a state-of-the-art birthing center handling approximately 2,100 births annually. The birthing center offers a warm environment with integrated labor and delivery rooms to support high-risk pregnancies. Additionally, the Level III NICU is located close by. The PeaceHealth Medical Group also includes a dedicated team of OB/GYN's with 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage and a responsive nurse phone-triage team
