The Business Systems Analyst Senior works with the business partners within multiple business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. Provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members. Maintains in-depth knowledge of applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s). Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements that will provide operational efficiencies, reduces potential risk to client, and improves end user experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds relationships with business partners who leverage ServiceNow with a goal to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf, maintain platform designed standards and governance, and communicate effectively between business and technical users
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, potential design and integration of technical solutions, including upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts
  • Works with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements as well as establish and strengthen the relationship between teams
  • Owns the relationship with stakeholders to identify, model, and document business processes and data requirements
  • Partners with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification
  • Facilitate scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicates with business partners on story status and follow-up
  • Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions
  • Builds roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
