About the Role:

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in conducting advanced research within the fields of materials science, inorganic chemistry, or electrochemistry.
  • This role involves utilizing fundamental principles to carry out scientific research, develop technical reports, and prepare manuscripts for publication.
  • Responsibilities include organizing experimental data, drafting reports, publishing articles, presenting at conferences, and mentoring students and junior professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or Electrochemistry.
  • Maximum of two years post-doctoral degree award.
  • Relevant work experience and advanced training in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Electrochemistry.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a National Agency Check for security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or Electrochemistry, or a related Engineering field.
  • Expertise in corrosion electrochemistry, theoretical/experimental modeling, and chemical kinetics.
  • Proficiency in using electrochemical software and instrumentation for material corrosion analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with spectroscopic techniques for material surface analysis in corrosion studies.
  • Knowledge of interpreting polarization potential-current diagrams and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in correlation to corrosion.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines for enhanced funding opportunities.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with corrosion measurement and material characterization technologies, alongside electrochemical analysis.
