Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections on all products throughout manufacturing processes and final inspection prior to delivery, including Final Vehicle inspection.
  • Generate, complete, and manage all reports and procedures digitally.
  • Perform incoming inspections on raw and finished goods materials.
  • Utilize various inspection equipment, such as hand measurement tools, fixture gauges, and other necessary tools.
  • Prepare Non-conformance reports to suppliers for warranty and inspected component failures.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to address quality issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and the development of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Aid in investigating product defects and suggesting modifications in product, process, and/or quality standards as needed.
  • Engage with production teams to address non-conforming products and reduce the cost of non-quality.
  • Apply expertise, experience, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the enhancement of quality systems, including receiving inspection, final inspection, in-line inspection, and various process audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all quality assurance work areas.
  • Ensure adherence to all quality standards and procedures.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills essential for conveying detailed problems to colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in using various measuring devices and tools, including Precision Hand Tools, Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, Squares, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (Faro Arm).
  • Ability to efficiently interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to follow work instructions and procedures.
  • Practical Mechanical experience, preferably in automotive or transportation, though professional experience is not mandatory.
  • Strong decision-making skills and keen attention to detail are vital.
  • Basic computer skills required for tasks such as email communication, form completion, and data entry into spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is advantageous.
