Inova Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Perioperative to join their team in Oakton, Virginia.

The Perioperative Support Specialist 1 will be responsible for preparing case carts, ensuring efficient procedure set up of surgical cases, and maintaining supply levels. Collaboration with the surgical team and other clinical disciplines is crucial for success in this role. Continuous self-development is also expected.
Job Responsibilities
- - Assists with equipment installation, removal, and cleaning based on the OR schedule.
- - Packs instruments and sterile supplies for various surgical cases.
- - Completes case preparation for emergency, add-on, and scheduled cases.
- - Accesses and handles the OR computer system independently.
- - Monitors and replenishes supply levels as necessary.
- - Performs checks on Emergency case carts regularly.
- - Supports the PeriOp Support OR Aide and takes on additional assigned duties.
Requirements For Consideration
- Location: Inova Alexandria Hospital
- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Schedule: Fulltime M-F evening 12PM to 830PM
- Experience: 1 year in a healthcare setting or inventory management
- License: BLS from AHA UPON START
