    • Unit description: 6 pre/post procedural bays, 2 procedural rooms, this team handles approximately 14 procedures daily including but not limited to Biopsies (Liver, Bone, Bone Marrow), Never Ablation, Vascular Procedures, Drain and Line Placement, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, GI procedures. Nurses are trained to rotate through the Pre, Intra, and Post (recovery) areas of the department, working closely with the interventional radiology provider and techs to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.
    Job Requirements:
    • Requires minimum 1 year (RN) nursing experience.
    • Preferred experience: 2+ years' experience in a critical care and/or procedural/peri-anesthesia area.
    • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
    • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
    • BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required at start.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
    • Proficient computer skills required.
