Sr. QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to be in charge of developing and maintaining automated test cases using Selenium or a similar technology, creating and managing test scripts for both manual and automated testing. Remote work options are available but it is essential to work and live in Texas.

(candidates must currently be based in Texas and may need to provide proof of residency).

QA automation engineers devise automated tests by crafting scripts that automatically execute testing functions. This involves establishing the priority for test scenarios and devising execution plans to carry out these scenarios. It is crucial to have experience working in an Agile environment and to be accessible for on-call support when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documentation for automated processes.
  • Conduct manual testing as needed.
  • Monitor test case execution.
  • Set up regular automated test case schedules along with mandatory reporting.
  • Utilize Jira for defect logging and tracking.
  • Create and manage requirements traceability matrices.
  • Assist the development team in development, testing, UAT, and production where required and debug test cases as necessary.
  • Lead UAT testing activities when needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (verifiable)

  • 10 years of Manual Test Script Execution Experience
  • 8 years of Automated QA Testing Experience
  • 8 years of QA Test Script Creation Experience
  • 5 years of QA Automated Test Case Reporting Experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Webdriver.IO, Selenium
  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Jira, XRay or Zephyr
