Account Manager - Installed Base Team

Overview:
The Account Manager, reporting to the Sales Team Leader, utilizes industry expertise to drive the sales of Flow Control products and services within chemical and petrochemical markets in Houston and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture professional relationships to boost sales of Flow Control products.
  • Identify customer needs, address challenges, and exhibit strong account management skills to enhance sales outcomes.
  • Explore, assess, and close new sales opportunities within target accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge, staying informed of trends and advancements.
  • Foster customer support and retention efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team Leader on product expansion initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver prompt customer solutions.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and relevant documentation promptly.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
BS/BA degree required, preferably in engineering or a related technical field.
Thorough understanding of refining and petrochemical industry operations.

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the process industry. Experience with Final Control Valves is advantageous.
