Job Description:
- Provide first-point customer support in the HR/Employee Experience Center
- Deliver exceptional service for inquiries related to benefits, leaves, payroll, and various HR topics
- Offer training on employee benefit programs and workshops
- Resolve complex issues efficiently through multiple communication channels
- Collaborate with HR colleagues, UC Office of the President, and vendors for issue resolution
- Contribute to knowledge management tools to ensure accurate information and consistency
- Manage workload to meet service level standards and escalate unique issues as needed
- Educate and influence customers to utilize self-service support
- Communicate effectively to match customer needs and understanding levels
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in HR, payroll, or benefits
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Analytical skills, knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employee benefits functions
- Ability to recommend solutions, collaborate, share knowledge, and handle ambiguity
Special Conditions:
- Employee Experience Center hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
