Our client's Finance team is seeking a talented individual to join as a Senior SAP Product Costing Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Finance team to establish efficient solutions and processes primarily within SAP. Your responsibilities will include providing expert guidance on transactional process flows and system procedures within SAP, focusing on areas such as cost component structures, material data, Bills of Materials, Work Centers, Routings, labor and overhead activity rates, costing runs, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and development of SAP/S4HANA solutions and processes across all markets, with a specific focus on Product Costing.
  • Ensure timely completion of all implementation deliverables for portfolio projects and enhancements.
  • Support the design, testing, data migration, and change management processes for SAP S4HANA.
  • Create high-quality project documentation, user training materials, and support content in various formats.
  • Oversee system operational responsibilities including data integrity checks and system setups.
  • Conduct systems and process demos, exercises, training sessions, and presentations to enhance user skills and engagement.
  • Resolve user issues promptly either directly or by collaborating with support teams (e.g., IT).
  • Collaborate with finance operations and supply chain teams to assess system application security, enhancement needs, and process transformation.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance operations system processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to SAP and Business leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines to meet close responsibilities and prevent implementation delays.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Product Costing.
  • Over 5 years of experience in SAP Product Costing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with S4HANA.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP data structure and reporting requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, including working with large datasets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a publicly traded manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or cannabis company.
  • Previous experience in public accounting.
  • Experience with SAP implementation projects.
