The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:
- Lead evangelistic and discipleship-focused programming at the Agape Center, including athletics (all ages) and high school programs/events.
- Engage the Roseland community and community members through partnerships with churches and organizations (i.e. public schools), and by being accessible and present.
- Engage in lifeonlife discipleship with teens and adults (could be Agape participants, volunteers, parents, etc).
- Recruit, coordinate, train, lead, and evaluate volunteers to represent the ministry and communicate to clientele, volunteers, community partners, church/ministry partners, recruits, and financial donors.
- Participate, as needed, in the ministry's seasonal training, packing events, donor events, and mission experiences, performing a variety of duties.
- Actively raise and maintain financial support necessary to support wage compensation requirements according to corporate compensation policies and set rates.
- Demonstrate and model personal spiritual discipline and assist in the development of an environment on the team where individual team members grow in their own Christian walks.
- Engage in the ministry's professional development process including creating and implementing a Position Focus with Critical Mission Objectives, a Professional Development Plan, and Key Development Areas. This will include biweekly meetings with a supervisor, plus a midyear, and annual review.
- Perform related duties or special projects as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- 2 Years/associate degree.
- 3 years experience in a church or Christian ministry setting.
