Use oscilloscope, digital voltmeters and test box to calibrate systems and ensure outputs are at predetermined levels. Troubleshoot and repair peripheral equipment such as Sort testers probers and ovens Associate's with test systems Work with cognizant engineers in defining area of systems malfunctions. Deal with manufacturing representatives on diagnosing specific systems problems and requisitioning parts. Train and assist lower level technicians. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform electrical, mechanical or software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment. Adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. May perform equipment modifications as directed by test/manufacturing engineers Must be able to work night shift. You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Associate's degree in electronics technology or equivalent combination of experience and training. A minimum of two years of directly related experience and an extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repairs of several different test systems. 1-3 years experience
