Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of purchasing specialist in our corporate Las Vegas location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate suppliers and products.
  • Monitor stock levels.
  • Request quotes, negotiate purchase terms & conditions and prepare & issue purchase orders.
  • Assure that purchased items are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Review new technologies, materials and products for possible future use.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven working experience in Purchasing a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Team-player who can also work independently.

Compensation

  • Pay dependent on experience (starting 65K)
  • Full benefits package included (i.e. 401K, PTO, medical, dental, vision, etc.)
