Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ID / OD Grinder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This position requires exceptional precision, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and accurately follow blueprints. As an ID / OD Grinder, you will be responsible for setting up machines, operating grinding equipment, and ensuring the smooth and efficient production process. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a solid background in machine operation and grinding, who is eager to take their career to the next level in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to accurately set up and operate grinding machines.
  • Operate ID / OD grinding machines with precision and accuracy, ensuring that all parts meet the required specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery, performing routine maintenance and repairs as necessary to maintain optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to machine settings to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Document and report any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the production process.
  • Continually seek to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ID / OD Grinder or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Extensive experience in machine set-up and operation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with grinding machines and equipment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machine operation or a related field is a plus.
