**Description:**

First shift (6am-2:30pm) Grinder needed for large machine shop in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Pay will be between $30-$45 an hour in pay with OT available as well.

Ideally looking for candidates that have worked with any of these machines: Toyoda and Cincinnati OD grinder, Heald ID, Springfield vertical ID, and Blanchard machines.

Details:

Be able to set up and operates a variety of production grinding machines, such as, O.D.

Grinder, I.D. Grinder, Universal Grinder, Vertical Grinder, Blanchard Grinder.

Must be able to perform general grinding operations to specified tolerances and finishes on

component parts and products of any material.

Must be able to select, dress and shape grinding wheels to desired contour.

Must be able to use a variety of grinding wheels, measuring instruments and fixturing

devices.

Must be able to select feeds and speeds.

Must be able to operate jib crane.

Must be able to work from blue prints, sketches, and process sheets, written and verbal

instruction.

Must be able to detects and report discrepant operations and defective materials.

Must be able to keep work area, machinery, and equipment clean and orderly.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

3+ years of experience in a related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

High School diploma or equivalent is required

Must use various types of inspection equipment, such as, micrometers, calipers, gages,

scales, dial indicators, protractor, and verniers.

Must have knowledge of surface finishes.

Must have the ability to set up own machine using fixtures and tooling.

Must have knowledge of different types of grinding wheels and how they are best used on

various types of materials.

Must be able to dress and shape grinding wheels to contour needed.
