Position Purpose/Summary:This position performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.

  • Has proven experience and/or knowledge to qualify as an RTS/Inventory Handler.
  • Trained to be a certified fork truck driver.
  • Assist with line setups by verifying that material is located in our building.
  • Communicate any material shortages to appropriate departments.
  • Closeout the production orders.
  • Make sure all finished goods are properly outputted.
  • Cycle count all unused inventory that was issued to the production order.
  • Investigate all completed production orders with high inventory variances.
  • Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with handling and moving material.
  • If necessary, the RTS/Inventory Handler must be willing and able to work flexible hours (including overtime) to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Follows Company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Any other requests made by Warehouse Coordinator or Operations Manager.
  • Expected to be exposed to/trained in handling hazardous materials with annual refresher training. These

  • Maintains accurate and complete documentation of cycle counts, routine maintenance, etc.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities

Education:

  • High school education or equivalent expected.
  • Associate's Degree highly preferred

Experience:

  • One year of previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • The ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
  • Demonstrated capacity to receive work direction and perform to the expectation assigned.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask in a multidiscipline.
  • Understands how to participate as a member of a team; supports the goals of the team.
  • Willing and able to work alongside a variety of people, with emphasis on respect and safety.
  • Recent past experience as a dependable employee, particularly relating to low absenteeism and tardiness.

Technology/Software:

  • Capable to utilize a computer or RF Scanners
  • WMS experience preferred

Communication:

  • Expected to be able to receive information and perform the tasks assigned; likewise able to express themselves so as to avoid problems, errors, issues, or misunderstanding situations.

Physical Capabilities

Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion):

  • Have ability to regularly lift, carry, turn and raise; and/or lift turn and bend down to place a unit weighing up to 50 lb. on to a pallet or stack of units. Frequency could be every 3 to 5 seconds.
  • Have ability to retrieve merchandise from shelves up to 6 feet high.
  • The ability to be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, nontoxic fumes and airborne particles, blowing dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, proximity to extreme heat, and moving mechanical parts

Movement (standing, stopping, sitting, crouching, crawling):

  • Have full mobility in, and use of, arms, hands and legs.
  • Have ability to sit for long periods of time.
Hearing (loud noise tolerance, quiet work area, public speaking, receive work direction):

  • Able to function in a semi loud environment, with frequent loud bursts of noise (such as backup siren)
