Experis/Manpower Group has partnered with a leading financial organization in Jacksonville, FL / Addison, TX for a contract Sr. IAM Engineer to assist their team. It will be a Hybrid role.

Title: Sr. IAM Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL / Addison, TX

Duration: 12-18+ months

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on architect level decisions for authentication solutions.
Implement authentication solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and other relevant tools.
Work with cross-domain Identity and Authentication Services teams to collaborate on various IAM solutions.
Design new features or improve existing ones in collaboration with other members of the engineering team.
Identify process improvement opportunities for review and subsequent implementation.
Perform SME level tasks and consultations with SSO Integration and SSO Engineering teams on authentication solution implementations.
Provide guidance and senior level support on policy creation, modification, usage, and policy fragments.
Plan and lead major technology assignments.
Ensure authentication services comply with industry standards and best practices.
Participate in security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments related to authentication services components.
Investigate and resolve authentication services related issues, including authentication failures, token management, and user provisioning.
Provide support for MFA and FIDO2 integrations with authentication services powered by PingIdentity products.
Offer advanced troubleshooting support for authentication services leveraging OAuth, OIDC, MFA, and FIDO2 to identify root cause and implement bug fixes when needed.
Provide senior level support to internal teams and end-users.
Create detailed technical documentation for authentication services configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Utilize industry standards for documentation using Jira, Horizon, or Confluence to ensure the team has artifacts and procedures for various day-to-day and complex implementations.
Tasks:

Collaborate with teams on architecting authentication solutions.
Implement authentication solutions using PingIdentity products.
Integrate authentication solutions with various applications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve authentication services issues.
Create detailed technical documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on expertise with PingIdentity products, including PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or commensurate enterprise-level experience.
Extensive experience integrating applications using industry standards such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and FIDO2.
Proficiency in policy creation and implementation, with experience in policy fragments being a strong plus.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Proven ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to achieve project/task completion.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
